FCS FINANCIAL POLICY
Before a student’s transcript/records/report card can be released at the end of the school year, FCS financial policy requires all outstanding tuition, fees or any other monies owed to the school be paid in full. A hold will also be placed on RenWeb access until any outstanding balance is paid. This includes book fees, athletic participation fees, after school care tuition and any other school fee. Please contact the appropriate department if you are unsure if you have an outstanding balance for any of these items.

GEORGIA GOAL
As a GOAL Participating School, FCS is eligible to promote the GOAL program to donors for designating their contributions to GOAL for use to provide scholarships at our school. This enables us to increase the amount of financial aid for which FCS students and families are eligible. This can help to increase enrollment, tuition income and opportunities for deserving students and their families. Please check the information on the FCS website to designate your state taxes to Georgia Goal and FCS. It may soon be possible for S Corporations, LLCs and Partnerships to contribute up to $10,000 to Georgia Goal. Information about this new opportunity to support FCS will be posted soon.

FELLOWSHIP FUND UPDATE
Parent Participation = 85%
Well on our way to the goal of 90% PP!
Cash Collected = $417,688
(Goal: $600,000)
Thank you, Fellowship! We have surpassed 80% parent participation, and will now receive $1,000 (from an anonymous donor) for every additional percentage point! Which means for every 5 families that give, FCS gets an additional $1000 donated to the Fellowship Fund. If you have already contributed - Thank you!! If you have not contributed yet, we still need your help! Click for more details or to make an on-line donation.

ARTFEST POSTPONED
Due to artist scheduling conflicts the Art Fest on the calendar for Saturday, April 27 has been postponed until next year.  We will have the new date on the calendar in the near future.

DEAR 7th GRADE PARENTS:
Thank you for your willingness to volunteer in various capacities to make the Jekyll trip such a great experience for the students. This trip is only possible with the help of dedicated parents who rearrange their schedules, commit time and finances, and keep drinking a lot of coffee for 4 days! You were all wonderful with the students, and supportive of the school. Thank you for your positive attitudes, your flexibility as we adjusted for the weather, your commitment to finishing the week well despite some sleep deprivation and for being such good role models for our students. You are so appreciated. Gratefully, Tammy Williamson

DEAR 8th GRADE PARENTS:
Thanks so much to all our wonderful parent chaperones who helped make the 2013 Washington, DC trip so successful. Without your help it is impossible to get over 80 students up in the mornings, moving during the day, excited about visiting another monument and corralling them in their room once back at the hotel. You were the warriors who, just like the post office of old, said, "Neither snow nor rain or heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." We were always on time. We saw everything we wanted to see and we could not have done it without you. Thank you so much for continuing this great FCS legacy to Washington, DC! Yours truly, Jonathan Fickley
