FELLOWSHIP FUND UPDATE
We have achieved 69% parent participation to date and have collected $255,679. Our goal is to achieve 100% parent participation and collect $600,000. This year's Fellowship Fund has six areas of focus: technology tools for teachers, Fine Arts, spiritual development, campus security equipment, strategic plan, and auxiliary practice field improvements. Gifts impact each student's Fellowship experience immediately because the funds are collected and spent in the area of focus within this school year. If you have not yet pledged or given, you can still do so by submitting your pledge or gift today. Simply click on-line giving or go to the FCS website
REMEMBER: Every gift - regardless of its size - is important to your child's FCS experience.

ONLINE RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2013-2014
Re-enrollment dates are January 29 - February 8, 2013. We are excited to introduce online re-enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year. In January you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the process. Re-enrolling between January 29 and February 8 will allow the $250 registration fee to be waived. The $500 tuition deposit is due when you re-enroll. Already a record number of applications have been received for next year, so please re-enroll in a timely manner to secure your student's place for next year. We value our families and look forward to partnering with you next year.

RESTORE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY, UGANDA, AFRICA

FCS has partnered with Bob Goff, author of Love Does, and Restore International Ministries' ENGAGE project sponsoring thirteen students (one for each grade at FCS)  at Restore Leadership Academy in Uganda. This is a direct way our students can see what love does. Each FCS grade will be financially supporting ($1.00 per day) their assigned student in Uganda each month as well as communicating as pen pals, on Skype and through other ways they may initiate. This cultural and educational exchange, we hope, will be a "wholehearted involvement" between FCS and the kids in Uganda. Go to http://www.restoreinternational.org/engage for more specifics on this ministry.

LITTLE PALADINS, BIG PRIDE

BUS ROUTE
Wednesday, December 19 Elementary School will have a normal Wednesday late start schedule at 9:00 but, due to exams, middle and high school will start at 8:00 am. The busses will pick up at the regular weekday time, NOT the Wednesday pick up time. If you want your elementary student to arrive at  school later, you will need to make other arrangements. To be clear; buses will only run an early morning pick-up, not a Wednesday schedule.

ES FAMILY CHRISTMAS CHAPEL
Wednesday, December 19, 9:10 am, includes each ES grade level singing a Christmas song and reciting a Bible verse. The teachers even sing! After chapel, parties will begin and last until the 12:00 noon dismissal for the holidays. K4 and K5 (Mrs. Tomberlin's class) will dismiss at 11:45 am due to the traffic.

LOST AND FOUND
Wednesday, December 19 is the last day to check Lost and Found for any missing items. Please make sure to check both locations, one by the first grade classes and the other by the fourth grade classes. Any items not claimed before the break will be donated to Goodwill.

2012-2013 LIBRARY BOOK CLUB
THANK YOU to the following students and their families who have contributed, thus far, to the our Library Book Club. 55 new books have been placed on the shelves and will be enjoyed by many students at FCS for years to come. It's not too late to leave a lasting addition to the library. If you would like to commemorate an important person or day, please call Linda Landrum at 770.641.5587 to get started. We appreciate those of you who love and support the FCS Elementary School Library!
