PRAISE GOD!
FCS' partnership with Stop Hunger Now to help end world hunger and feed hungry children in third world countries was a huge success! Students weighed, packaged, and prepared 60,000 meals  for shipment. This is 10,000 meals over our goal. PRAISE GOD AND GIVE THANKS FOR THE GENEROSITY OF SO MANY FELLOWSHIP STUDENTS AND FAMILIES! See pictures and read all about it on the FCS website.

DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know our 2013-2014 Fellowship Fund annual fundraising campaign is currently underway with goals of raising $500,000 and having over 90% of our FCS families participate? Did you know 100% of our Board of Directors and 100% of our faculty/staff have already submitted their pledge of support to this year's fund? THANK YOU!

Come on, Parents! Let's show our appreciation to our wonderful faculty/staff and amazing administration by making your pledge or donation today. Within the last week, you should have received a letter in the mail, including a pledge form and donation envelope. Please mail your pledge form today or click here to make your donation online.

Because the funds are used in the year they are received, it is crucial to make your donation early. Our goal is to have all pledges submitted by December 6. Throughout November, parent volunteers will be calling those who have not yet donated or turned in pledge forms to answer any questions you may have about the fund and to encourage participation from all our parents. Thank you in advance for your support.

GOT PHOTOS?
Yearbook needs them! The yearbook staff is looking for photos of ES events and class special activities. If you have digital photos to share please supply them on a CD, DVD or flash drive to your child's teacher or drop it off at the ES office. Mark your flash drive with your name so it can be returned. Loren Hagearty is our parent volunteer ES Yearbook coordinator. Email any questions to her at Lhagearty@gmail.com.

JOIN THE MUSIC CREW
Every Friday afternoon and every Monday morning, Miss Baxley's Music Crew
As thanks for the long hours she devotes to our music program, we are eager to arrange the help Miss Baxley needs and deserves with her weekly classroom move. For this purpose  we would like to announce Miss Baxley's Music Crew. The Music Crew is open to volunteers from our 4th and 5th grade classes, as well as any interested parents.

The Music Crew is needed because we share our elementary classrooms with Fellowship Bible Church. Their Sunday school rooms are our elementary classrooms. This shared space is a great blessing to our school and our relationship with FBC is one we hold dear.

Miss Baxley's room is particularly needed on Sundays by the church, so she packs up her entire music class on Friday afternoons..her desk, instruments  music stands, file cabinets...to move it all to storage in the library. Every Monday, she moves it back to her classroom and unpacks it all again. It's a lot of work for one person, but many make light work!  To sign up, click above on Miss Baxley's Music Crew. Thank you for joining us in blessing Miss Baxley and the church. What a perfect way to help our students demonstrate "I Am Second."
