EDUCATING FOR ETERNITY BANQUET
Thank you to everyone who attended the banquet and kicked off the Fellowship Fund by pledge and donation. The 2012-13 Fellowship Fund projects include Technology, Spiritual Development, Fine Arts, Campus Security, Auxiliary Field Improvements, and Master Plan and Design. To date, we have raised $89,636 toward our $600,000 goal.

Thank you to our board and faculty/staff who have reached 100% participation and to the 30% of our parents who have given. Our goal is to achieve 100% parent participation. If you haven't given yet, you may do so by going online to: http://www.diamondmindinc.com/fcs.html.

LOVE DOES by BOB GOFF
Tuesday, November 6, 2-3:00 pm, ES AuditoriumParents are invited to attend a special assembly featuring Bob Goff.  On the book's back cover Mr. Goff is described as "something of a legend, and his friends consider him the world's best-kept secret. Those same friends have long insisted he write a book, and he finally did. It's full of paradigm shifts, musings, and stories from one of the world's most delightfully engaging and winsome people. What fuels his impact? Love. But it's not the kind of love that stops at thoughts and feelings. Bob is convinced love takes actions. Bob believes Love Does."

Little Paladins, Big Pride

THANK YOU!
FCS had our most successful Grandparents' Day yet with over 450 attending! A big thank you to all parent volunteers who helped honor our grandparents by providing food, decorations, serving as greeters, classroom photographers, hostesses, etc. Kudos to our wonderful children for their great musical performances; the band and vocals were excellent! Thanks also to our Music teachers for preparing the children for such a successful performance. And, to Gina Maney, our Hospitality Chair, for planning such an excellent event.

MYCOKE REWARDS
FCS is now collecting points for mycoke rewards. If you don't have time to key in your codes, just send them in a baggie marked "Kim Glisson" to school via your child. Kim, mom of Caleb in Mrs. Tomberlin's class, has graciously volunteered to collect and input codes for our school to earn points. Thank you, Kim!

FROM OUR PTF
October is . . .BOX TOP Bonanza Month!!
During the month of October, Middle and High School will be collecting Box Tops for Education labels. This is one of our PTF passive fundraisers that help provide much needed funds to support several of our awesome PTF events this year. Please place your Box Tops in a baggie with your child's name and grade written on it and drop it off in the High School office by Friday, October 26. The family that collects the most Box Tops will win a gift card to a local restaurant.
