Booster/Priority Parking is at the top of the field area this year. Please do NOT park at the church house near the older Woodstock Road entrance or along the road leading from the field up the hill to Paladin Park. The large gate, near the school, will be the main gate this year. This is a change from last year so please make note. Also, there will be limited restroom facilities outside. The school bathrooms will be open and available to the public.
Media guide lanyards go on sale today, Friday, September 7. Lanyards utilize a QR reader so a QR reading app is necessary in order to use them.

OVER 4,500 BOX TOPS COLLECTED!
Thank you to all the the parents who came together Wednesday morning to help us count! We collected a little over 4500 Box Tops which equals around $450 for the PTF. Thank you to the FCS Booster club for providing spirit wear shirts to the winners of our first Box Top contest. And, the winners are: Rebekah Rickman in Mrs. Harrison's 4th grade with 350 points and Jackson Young in Mrs. Toberlin's Kindergarten with 235 points.

Starting Friday, September 14, our FCS eighth grade class will be offering a Pizza Lunch every Friday, complete with a drink, dessert, and 2 slices of pizza. (Heart Smart will still offer a lunch option on Fridays as an alternative meal.) This is the primary fundraiser for the 8th grade Washington, DC trip. Please support them and enjoy some pizza! Cheese and pepperoni pizza will be offered.
The first order form will cover pizza lunches on Fridays for the remainder of September. Each meal costs $5.50 and, as noted above, includes two slices of pizza, a drink and dessert. LUNCHROOM NOTICE
Parents please be sure you child knows how to use a microwave and warm up the food he/she brings to school for lunch. We had an instance where an item was warmed without any liquid added and it set off our fire alarm. Also, please remind your child that metal and silverware should not be put in the microwave. One other food note, to avoid attracting ants or other bugs, all food items must be sealed before being put in a locker. Your help emphasizing this to our students is greatly appreciated.

COSTA RICA TRIP PRESENTATION
A presentation by a Appleseed Expeditions will take place Tuesday, September 18, 6:30 pm in Room 202 (Mrs. Daniels classroom). Plan to attend, hear all about the Costa Rica trip and ask questions of Mr. Joe Moore, C.E.O. of Appleseed Expeditions. He will answer specific questions about the trip, including cost, itinerary, dates and much more.

SENIORS
Studio 7 Photography is our exclusive photographer for FCS Senior Yearbook images. If you have not scheduled your senior photo shoot, please contact Studio 7 as soon as possible. All pictures must be taken by November 1. Seniors will be photographed in drapes (girls) and tuxedos (boys), which will be provided by Studio 7. Shots also will be taken in informal/casual settings both indoors and outdoors (students may want to bring a change of attire). December 1 is the deadline for choosing one informal and one formal image to be in the FCS Yearbook.REMEMBER: For senior information, refer to the FCS website, go to High School page, Senior tab.
BUILDING HOURS
Just a reminder: the High School building closes at 4:00 pm each day. In order to keep our students safe and the building secure, students practicing in Gym 1 are asked not to open the doors for anyone.
