Do not park along the red curbs during the school day, including afternoon and evening events held at the school. Even if you are just running into the school office for a quick drop off or pick up, please park in a parking space, not along a red curb. The time commitment would include consulting with your team twice a month during the robotics meeting on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:30 am. ATTENDANCE
As we approach Fall break, we want to remind our families of the high school's policy on pre-planned absences: "Because of the importance of maintaining the integrity of the academic day, the school does not endorse absences requested for the purpose of family convenience, outside social activities or extended vacation time. Students are expected to be in school for the entire day on the day preceding and following an official school holiday. If extraordinary circumstances require such an absence, parents must submit a written request to the office at least ten days prior to the date in question (attendance@fcspaladins.org). Pre-approved absences are granted only in exceptional circumstances. Once approved, the student will be given a form to be signed by all teachers and then returned to the office before the planned absence."Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, you may email our attendance office at attendance@fcspaladins.org. The complete FCS attendance policy may be found in the school's Policy Guide under Parent Resources on the FCS website.
