2014-2015 RE-ENROLLMENT FOR CURRENT STUDENTS 
Continues until TONIGHT, Friday, February 7,  AT midnight 
Reminder to parents: Re-enrollment must be completed before 11:59 pm tonight, Friday, February 7. If not you will lose the waiver of the $250 registration fee. Please re-enroll early so you are not at risk of passing the midnight deadline. 

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
The Stroud family invites you to join in the Celebration of Life and Love service for their beloved Kathleen, Thursday, February 13, 4:00 pm, Roswell United Methodist Church. This precious wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend is sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched. We join with the Strouds in praising God for His love and knowing Kathleen is in His presence today.

 School Offices Closing Early
Thursday, February 13, at 3:30 pm FCS elementary, middle and high school offices will close so our faculty/staff may attend the Celebration of Life service in memory of Kathleen Stroud.

THANK YOU to all who have pledged and/or given to our 2013-2014 Fellowship Fund! You're helping us reach our $500,000 goal. $334,000 in gifts and pledges have been received toward this year's Fellowship Fund with 70% parent participation. Pledges may be paid any time before May 31, 2014. It's not too late to participate. If you haven't made your gift or pledge yet, please mail one in or donate online.

Once you receive your approval letter from the Georgia Department of Revenue, your payment must be made within 60 days.

THE CURTAIN CLOSES
It was another incredible Elementary Variety Show. We are blown away by the talent of our students at FCS! The PTF sends our sincere thanks to all of the parents and staff who helped make our show a success! Most all, we thank Krista Jaroszewski for her countless hours, boundless energy, and buckets of love to bring our show to the stage.

Now that the second half of our year is underway, we really need some helping hands and servant hearts to fill in the gaps on our Music Crew schedule, helping Miss Baxley with her weekly task of moving her classroom. Sign up here!

LOST AND FOUND
Items will be donated today, Friday February 7.  Announcements have been made all week for students to retrieve lost items.  Please make plans to retrieve your items before Friday afternoon.

 BASEBALL
Monday, February 10, 5:30 pm, Room 108. Parents of MS boys interested in playing baseball, please plan to attend this parent meeting. All details concerning the middle school baseball team this year will be given out.

FOOTBALL MEETING
Tuesday, February 11, 7:00 pm, Paladin Center, informational football meeting for parents of upcoming 6th-12th graders interested in playing football in the fall.  A separate meeting will be held for players only; athletes do not need to attend this meeting. 

JEKYLL T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST
Thursday, February 13, NEW DUE DATE. The design contest is open to all 7th and 8th grade students.  This is your chance to have your design printed on all the Jekyll t-shirts. Click on Jekyll T-shirt Requirements to see the complete contest rules and requirements.

 FRIDAY PIZZA SNOW MAKE-UP DAY
Thursday, February 13. If you ordered Friday Pizza for January 31, you will receive pizza on February 13. Don't forget to cancel your February 13 Hot Lunch by Tuesday, Feb. 11 if you plan on receiving your ordered pizza.

MS MARCH–MAY PIZZA ORDER
Thursday, February 20 order due.  This is the final Friday Pizza order and includes March, April and May.  MS Pizza Order form.

MIDDLE SCHOOL VARIETY SHOW

Congratulations to our Paladin wrestlers for their victories last weekend at the Area wrestling finals.  Connor Nelson, Nate Shirley, James Wilson and alternate Clay Hostetter all advance to the Sectional finals Saturday at Holy Innocents. Go Paladins in your State Finals pursuit!
GO VALENTINE PARTY
Saturday, February 8, 5:00-8:00 pm, Fellowship Bible Church. High School students are hosting this Valentine’s Party for Hispanic couples. Students are needed to assist with set up beginning at 3:00 pm.  Questions?  Contact Yelena Daniel at yelena.daniel@fcspaladins.org.

2014 BETA CLUB INDUCTION
Saturday, February 22, 12:15pm, Gym 2. This year’s Beta Club Induction will include our induction service as well as a food drive for North Fulton Community Charities. Information regarding what to bring and do will be provided in upcoming lunch meetings. New Beta Club members should arrive to Gym 2 at 11:00 am and plan to leave at 1:00 pm following the food drive, lunch, and service of induction. Parents are invited to attend!

WIPHAN WARTHOG WADDLE 
Saturday, February 22, Fellowship Bible Church. Earn GO hours and support a great cause!!  Join Wiphan (a ministry to widows and orphans in Zambia, Africa) for their 4th annual Wiphan Warthog Waddle.  Students may earn GO hours by running or walking the 5K or by volunteering at the race (anytime between 6am-11am). To participate in the 5K, click here for a registration form (also available in the office).  To volunteer, email nancy@wiphan.org.  Thank you for your support!      

FCS MOMS CONNECT
Ultimate Hoedown Paladin Throwdown Tuesday, February 25, 7-10 pm. The High School PTF invites all of our wonderful High School Moms to dust off those cowgirl boots and hats and join us for a Paladin promenade in the high school gym. The cost is only $5! A Sign Up Genius invitation was sent out through email. RSVP by February 20. Mark your calendars now! You won't want to miss out on all the FUN!


ROBOTICS 
The FCS High School Robotics Club is excited to announce a second High School team has qualified to compete in the Georgia State Championship competition! Team 6297B, a.k.a. "The Schenken Team", qualified for the State Championship by achieving the "Design Award" at the North Forsyth High School VEX Robotics Competition held this past Saturday. The North Forsyth Robotics Alliance is home to many strong, experienced teams and consistently presents tough competition at the High School level.  Team 6297B has faced many technical challenges this season, but has continued to work diligently to overcome the obstacles they faced, and have persevered to win this top award.  CONGRATULATIONS FCS ROBOTICS TEAM 6297B, Team Mentor Chris Schenken, and team members: Wesley Deal, Zach Schenken, Jimmy Wallace and Jonathon Yancey!
