IMPROBABLE PHILANTHROPY
Wednesday, February 13, 9:40 am, ES Auditorium for the Elementary School
Wednesday, February 13, 11:05 am, G1 for Middle and High School
Al Andrews
You are invited to attend either of these chapels to hear author and philanthropist, Al Andrews. Being inspired by Bob Goff, Mr. Andrews wrote a children's book with the intention of 100% of the proceeds being donated to charity. His project is now called Restore Scholarship Project and provides college scholarships to recent graduates of Restore Academy in Uganda, which was founded by Bob Goff.

Check out the story at www.improbablephilanthropy.com. The FCS family is locking arms with Improbable Philanthropy and the students of Restore Academy by purchasing copies of Al's book, The Boy, the Kite, and the Wind. For each 50 books sold, one student will receive a scholarship toward his or her first year at school. Your children will be bringing an order form home and you may purchase online as well. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend this chapel.

QUESTIONS ON THE FIVE YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN
Wednesday, February 20, 6:00-7:00 pm, Lecture Hall Come join us for this question and answer format regarding the FCS Strategic Plan. Information on the plan, which was  presented at the State of the School Address, January 28, can be found on the FCS website News page.

CALLING ALL PARENTS!
As we continue to partner with you in educating your children, we would like feedback from you. Please go to our 2013 Parent Perception of Instruction; print a copy for each teacher and return them to the school office of your choice by February 22. It is very simple and short and will not take much of your time, so we encourage everyone to participate.

PARENTS FOR Pi - A MATH CAREER DAY EVENT

Parents with real world perspective related to logic, statistics, money management, engineering, architecture, long term predictions, and other math related topics are encouraged to be part of the high school's Mathematics Career Day event on Thursday, March 14, also known as Pi Day. If you are interested in volunteering for this fantastic event and investing in the future of FCS students, please reserve that day on your calendar. ALUMNI NEWS
Fellowship Magazine is looking for FCS Alumni News. Where are they now and what have they done since graduating from FCS? College graduation, degrees earned, changes in residence, job status or movement, promotions, awards, marriages, births, reunions or classmate get-togethers are all news worth noting. Send digital high res photos and information to melinda.williamson@fcspaladins.org.

FELLOWSHIP FUND
We have collected $378,123 toward our $600,000 Fellowship Fund goal. Thank you to everyone who has given so far. Reaching our $600,000 goal helps the school reach six board approved initiatives: Teaching Technology Tools, Spiritual Development Programs, Auxiliary Field Improvements, Fine Arts, Campus Security, and Master Plan and Design.

Parent participation is equally important. Two gift match opportunities are available. Parents that make a new gift (not a payment toward an existing pledge) can have their gift matched. Thanks to an anonymous donor, the next $30,000 in new gifts will be matched. Another anonymous gift match encourages parents to exceed last year's 81% participation total by giving $1000 for each percentage point from 82 to100 percent. Each gift is important, regardless of the size.
