WT Cafe is expanding their menus and offering a Buy One Get One deal for March (it will expire on 3/11/2013). By adding the coupon code for each child's division at checkout you get 2 meals in your cart for the same child, it will not work for 2 meals for 2 different children. Use the same code for each of your children within a division. If you haven't tried WT Cafe, March is a great time to start with an extended menu and BOGO!  Click on the appropriate code and see the menu, then go to their website to order.

PALADIN CENTER
Wodify begins February 25. As the renovations of our new Paladin Center at 735 W. Crossville Road (next to Pikes) come to an end some changes will take place starting February 25. Wodify, a new performance tracking system for CrossFit Fellowship, will begin. Like CrossFit Training, this system is free for all students and members. You may receive an e-mail from CrossFit Fellowship explaining Wodify and giving you a username and password for your child or yourself. You may be tempted to discard the e-mail and we will be happy to help your child or any member retrieve the information at a later date, however, please know the Wodify system is a secure system which will propel our performance tracking within the Paladin Center and sets us apart from any other school program in the country. We are proud to call the Paladin Center home and are excited about the changes coming. Please e-mail questions to us at xffellowship@gmail.com. We look forward to the improved safety and accountability the Wodify system will bring to our sports performance programs. A grand opening event will be announced soon. Go Paladins!

CHICK-FIL-A SPIRIT NIGHT
Tuesday, February 26, 3:30-7:00 pm, Chick-fil-A in the Roswell Super Target Shopping Center. Stop by right after school for a snack or early dinner. Be sure to tell them you are with Fellowship! Show your Paladin spirit by dining in, taking out or driving through. Dress down passes will be handed out to Elementary and Middle School students. The elementary class with the most participants wins an ice cream party. See you there!

FELLOWSHIP AND RESTORE ACADEMY
FCS has been presented with a life-impacting opportunity to help our students make investments for eternity. Each grade level has been connected with a Ugandan student who studies at Restore Leadership Academy (RLA) in Gulu, Uganda. As you may recall, this school was established by Bob Goff (Love Does) in 2007.  We are asking each grade to collect $30 each month to send to RLA in support of that grade's student. The monies are used for education, books, meals, medicine, sports and more. Elementary classroom teachers collect their support money throughout the month and middle/high teachers collect theirs during Bible class.  Each week, we will introduce you to a different student. This week meet Charles, please pray for him

Charles

Charles' birthday is June 15.
His favorite animal is the cow; favorite color is gray; favorite school subject is physics; favorite food is beans.
Charles wants to be an engineer.
He likes to read in his free time and, if he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to the United Kingdom.

IMPROBABLE PHILANTHROPY
The FCS family is locking arms with improbablephilanthropy.com and the students of Restore Academy by purchasing copies of Al Andrews' book, The Boy, the Kite, and the Wind.  For each 50 books sold, one student from Restore Academy will receive a scholarship toward his or her first year at school. Books are on sale in the HS office or you may purchase them online.

BRING THE WORLD INTO YOUR HOME
March 11-18,  In North AtlantaUp with People (UWP) is a non-profit global education program that brings the world together through service and music. From March 11 to March 18, 2013 the cast of 120 students and staff from 20 different countries will be in the North Fulton County Area! This international group is currently seeking families to host these dynamic young people for one week. Students are between the ages of 17 to 29, have graduated from high school, and all speak conversational English. Hosting  an Up with People student is easy and fun! Simply provide: a place to sleep, minimal meals (breakfast and some dinners), limited local transportation and overall, a comfortable atmosphere to promote the sharing of customs and cultures. Over the last four decades, Up with People participants have interacted with nearly 500,000 host families in 46 countries -- you won't want to miss this opportunity! The FCS family has the opportunity to share the love of Christ with these students from across the world while they are serving our community and perform musical shows in Roswell. As the UWP flyer says, "A major element of the UWP program is living with local host families in the communities visited." Students will arrive on the evening of March 11 and depart the morning of March 18. For more information see the flyer and/or contact jo.mcdonald@fcspaladins.org or aschwed@upwithpeople.org

    CONGRATULATIONS ROBOTICS!
Our 8th grade boys on Team E did an outstanding job at the South Forsyth Middle School regional competition last Saturday. They  finished qualifying rounds in first place which gave them first choice of alliance selections. Knowing that only the winning alliance earned a spot at World, Team E decided to support FCS by choosing Team C from Fellowship which had finished in 16th place. Both teams performed very well during the elimination rounds and won the championship, entitling BOTH teams to go to World championships in April.

In addition, Team E also won the driving skills competition and programming skills competition and finished the entire tournament without losing a single match.  Excellent programming and driving by Drew Cookston and Harrison Shaw. We are very proud of Team E  for the wonderful job they have done with their robot skills under the mentorship of parent Chris Shaw. Even more important, we are proud of the character they model to our other middle school team members by how they conduct themselves and the choices they make.
    Congratulations to both!
Team E - Ben Ward, Harrison Shaw, Drew Cookston, Austin Saladna, Avery Lear, Jack Paul
Team C- Zack Schenken, Chris Archer, Wesley Deal, Jordan Parker, Jonathan Yancey
