CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Due to the weather and conditions at the church, the Stroud family Celebration of Life and Love service for their beloved Kathleen, has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2:00 pm, Roswell United Methodist Church. The family hopes you can join them in wearing bright colors! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kathleen Stroud Memorial Fund at any SunTrust Bank or to the Kathleen Magee Stroud Endowment Fund at STAR House Foundation.

FCS FINE ARTS PERFORMANCES
Drama
Thursday - Saturday, March 6-8, Gym 1. "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" presented by our HS Drama team. Admission is $10 at the door. Performance times are 7:30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings; 2:30 pm Saturday matinee. Everyone is welcome. 
Chorus Wednesday, March 12, 7-9 pm, FBC Auditorium. The MS/HS Chorus will present "A Tribute to Les Miserables". Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

ES COMPUTER CAMP

MS MARCH–MAY PIZZA ORDER
Thursday, February 20 order due.  This is the final Friday Pizza order and includes March, April and May.  MS Pizza Order form.

MIDDLE SCHOOL OUTREACH
Middle school students will have the opportunity to partake in a local outreach. Each grade will go on a separate day as follows:
  • Wednesday, February 26 – 8th grade to Safe House and 7 Bridges for Recovery
  • Thursday, February 27 – 7th grade to Safe House and 7 Bridges for Recovery
  • Friday, February 28 – 6th grade to Safe House, Gateway and 7 Bridges
Please keep these dates in prayer. As our students serve, share the gospel and pray for others we hope our Heavenly Father touches the lives of all those they encounter. In addition to Bible classes helping prepare students for this trip, Chapel on February 19 will be specifically focused on this outreach. Parents are always welcome to join us for chapel and this will be a good one to attend, especially for those interested in chaperoning. Please look for additional information and permission slips to be sent home within the next few days.

MIDDLE SCHOOL VARIETY SHOW
Friday, February 28, 7:00 pm. Mark your calendars for this 5th annual show! Don't miss this big event! All MS attendees and participants will receive a dress down pass!

GO VALENTINE PARTY

decorate for the banquet.
High school students and parents hosted a Valentine's Banquet for Hispanic couples last Saturday, February 8 at Fellowship Bible Church. It was a special vow renewal celebration for these couples, with dinner provided. Students set up, served guests, provided childcare, gave out roses, and practiced their Spanish. The couples, as well as Fellowship's Español Pastor Montenegro and his wife (also FCS parents), were very thankful!

TREAD WINTER SKI TRIP  
Our outdoor adventure club,Tread, took a group of 37 to the ski slopes of Colorado over this Winter Break. The group hopes to depart today, Thursday, February 13 and will return Monday, February 17. Please pray for their safe travel and return.

CONGRATULATIONS
Junior Kelsey Royalty and Senior Roger Rickman were just named to First Team All Region in basketball! Way to go, Kelsey and Roger! Congrats to both of you!

GEORGIA MATH LEAGUE CONTESTS
Due to the school closing this week, the next Georgia Math League contests have been rescheduled for next week.
  • Tuesday, February 18 - Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP Statistics
  • Wednesday, February 19 - Honors Algebra II and Advanced Algebra-Trig
No sign-ups are required.  Contests will be held during lunch in Room 103.  Students should bring their lunch, graphing calculator, and a pencil, and please be on time.

FCS WRESTLING
Friday and Saturday, February 21-22GHSA State Wrestling Championship. Congratulations to James Wilson and Nathan Shirley for advancing to State in Wrestling! Read more 

The GHSA State Wrestling Championship Tournament was scheduled for this weekend at the Gwinnett Arena. It has been postponed to next weekend, Friday and Saturday, February 21 & 22. In order to allow time for these athletes to properly prepare for the most important tournament of the season and because the Gwinnett Arena is not available due to previous commitments, the GHSA is exploring several options for alternate host sites. Please check the GHSA website regularly for updates.

2014 BETA CLUB INDUCTION
Saturday, February 22, 12:15pm, Gym 2This year’s Beta Club Induction will include the induction service as well as a food drive for North Fulton Community Charities. Information regarding what to bring and do was provided in lunch meetings this past week. New Beta Club members should arrive to Gym 2 at 11:00 am and plan to leave at 1:00 pm following the food drive, lunch, and service of induction. Parents are invited to attend!

WIPHAN WARTHOG WADDLE 
Saturday, February 22, Fellowship Bible Church. Earn GO hours and support a great cause!!  Join Wiphan (a ministry to widows and orphans in Zambia, Africa) for their 4th annual Wiphan Warthog Waddle.  Students may earn GO hours by running or walking the 5K or by volunteering at the race (anytime between 6am-11am). To participate in the 5K, click here for a registration form (also available in the office).  To volunteer, email nancy@wiphan.org.  Thank you for your support!      

FCS MOMS CONNECT
Ultimate Hoedown Paladin Throwdown Tuesday, February 25, 7-10 pm. The High School PTF invites all of our wonderful High School Moms to dust off those cowgirl boots and hats and join us for a Paladin promenade in the high school gym. The cost is only $5! A Sign Up Genius invitation was sent out through email. RSVP by February 20. Mark your calendars now! You won't want to miss out on all the FUN!
